Tell you what, the frequent flyers have been racking up but we're relieved to be back at the Gabba this weekend!
We've only played twice at home in the opening six weeks so our clash vs Fremantle and the familiarity of the maroon, blue and gold seats of our home ground will be a breath of fresh air.
You know the drill, we've spoken to sports scientists, fans and AI to get every possible exciting detail about the game and compiled it all into one, very readable article.
Enjoy!
Last time we met
We played Fremantle at Optus Stadium and Bails kicked an amazing goal!
That's all we're going to say about that game... here's a video if you want a disappointing ending.
Be excited about
Froggy's Return
Arguably the nicest bloke at the Club will play his first game of the season on Saturday, with Ryan Lester receiving the call up to Fages' side.
A leader both an and off-field, 'Frog' has been in great form in the VFL across the opening five rounds and has the ability to play small or tall.
161 games of experience and a fierce competitor, we're excited to see what Froggy can bring against the Dockers.
Haidar's Wish Coming True
We couldn't more excited to have Haidar run out with the team on Saturday afternoon!
After announcing that his wish came true earlier in the week, the little legend has been training with the team and is ready to lead our side out at the Gabba.
We hope we can do you proud mate, can't wait to watch you strut your stuff!
Key match-ups we're keen for
Lachie Neale vs All of Freo
The calf king will line up once again against his old side on Saturday and we can't wait.
It was great to see the two teams come together for heartfelt catch-ups last time we played, and we're expecting similar wholesome energy at the Gabba (as the image clearly shows....).
If we know Lachie though, he'll be ready to put the jets on and put on a great show.
