Time-trial king Harry Sharp will play his 8th game of AFL football tomorrow night when the Brisbane Lions take on Carlton in Round 8 at Marvel Stadium.
The 20-year-old midfielder receives the call up for veteran Dayne Zorko, who is sidelined with a hamstring strain sustained in last Saturday’s win over Fremantle.
While defender Daniel Rich is also out, as he recovers from a calf injury.
It’s opened up another spot in Chris Fagan’s 23 for last week’s tactical sub Noah Answerth, who had a strong performance in his last VFL outing which saw him collect 24 touches along with two goals, six clearances and eight tackles.
Club stalwart Ryan Lester retains his position in the side after impressing in his first senior game of 2023 last weekend.
Cal Ah Chee, Jarryd Lyons, Darcy Fort and Darragh Joyce have been listed as the emergencies.
Bounce for the Friday night footy clash is at 7:50pm. The game will be broadcast on 7, Fox Footy and Kayo.
