The AFL has today confirmed the Lions Round 24 home clash against Essendon will be held on Saturday 24 August, with the first bounce at 7.25pm.

The always anticipated Bombers match is the final round of the home and away season, with the Lions returning to nighttime footy for the first time since their Rd 16 win over Melbourne at the Gabba. 

The Lions have put the sold out sign up six times at the Gabba this season, so Members and fans will need to be quick to snap up their tickets.
