Captain Dayne Zorko has overcome hamstring tightness to today be named in Senior Coach Chris Fagan’s 22-man team to take on the Gold Coast SUNS on Saturday afternoon at The Gabba.
Zorko was in doubt after sitting on the bench for most of the second half in Round 20’s win over the Western Bulldogs.
The 30-year-old managed to get through training successfully today and will play in QClash18.
Defender Marcus Adams told media this morning Zorko breathes life into the team each week.
“Just the energy on and off the field. He’s just a ball of energy,” Adams said.
“He really sets the standard for us, gets us going and his ability, his pressure acts you see week in week out.
“He’s a remarkable teammate.”
Fagan has made no changes to the side who celebrated their seventh straight win against the Dogs.
Ryan Bastinac, Josh Walker, Cedric Cox and Brandon Starcevich have been named as emergencies.
