THE LIONS suffered their fifth consequtive loss in Saturday's QClash against the Gold Coast at Metricon. It was a dissappointing game without many standout performers for our Club. The Lions were out-played and out-strengthed by the Suns, but there were a few players who did try to stand up for the Lions.

Leppa: "You just think... Play your role"

Jack Redden was our leading disposal getter with 33, followed by Dayne Beams with 31 whilst also kicking 2 classy goals.

Mitch Robinson was also one of our best, he kept his head over the ball and hit each contest hard. He finished with 28 possessions.

Stefan Martin, was once again one of our key performers, he had 24 disposals and had a match high 42 hit-outs in the ruck.
