The Board of the Brisbane Lions met with senior representatives from the AFL today as part of a mediation process.
Present from the Lions' Board were Directors, Angus Johnson, Peter McGregor, Cameron Milner, Linda Nash, Mick Power and Paul Williams, as well as Leigh Matthews.
The AFL was represented by AFL Commission Chairman, Mike Fitzpatrick, CEO, Andrew Demetriou, and Deputy CEO, Gillon McLachlan.
The talks between the parties were constructive with some progress made. The Board and the AFL will reconvene again later this week to continue talks.
