After a pretty ordinary start, my Dream Team really hit its straps in the last couple of months.
I was a bit stiff in my League this week considering I drew with the top team, but got eliminated because I was the lower ranked team.
But I beat Shermo the week before and have now scored more points than both him and our Property Manager Hawkey which is good.
As for Vossy, he doesn’t do Dream Teams. He has enough on his plate with the Lions to be worried about those sorts of things.
Do you know of any interesting plans the boys may have during their break before pre-season begins? Do any stay in Brissie?

The guys will be doing a whole heap of different things over the off-season. We’re obviously heading to China in October and some of the guys have booked other overseas trips as well.
Simon Black will be busy planning his wedding while Jack Redden will probably stick around Brisbane and just go out on some dates.

Yeah, Steve from the B.R.I.T.S put together a collage for my 150th. It came up really well and I’ll be sure to find a special place for it.
I’m just not sure yet exactly where to display it. My house is a mess at the moment!

But the best car is either Goose’s old blue truck or Lachy Penfold’s safari ute.

Otherwise, Todd Banfield can magically make his EFTPOS card disappear whenever you take him out for lunch.

The funniest this year was probably when Browny touched Toddy Banfield’s kick on the goal-line against the Eagles. I guess it’s funny now because he ended up kicking the match-winning goal to make up for it.
It can be pretty bad when Club physios and runners giving away 50 metre penalties. You should see the reaction from the coaches!
Hey Ash! My four girlfriends and I have a bet going. We are all going to be travelling around Australia in January, but in different directions due to the fact that some of our family members live in different states. Our bet is to see who can score a date with a footy player while travelling. Whoever gets a date gets some money which we are all chipping in for. We must have a photo with the footy player for proof as well. My first destination from Hobart is Brisbane! So I was wondering if you can please help me score a date with one of the Lions boys?

I’m not sure if I’ll get the chance because Toby might be hanging up the boots at the end of the year.
By the time I finish up playing AFL, we might play together somewhere. We could end up playing local footy at Kent Districts or at the great old Mundijong Centrals.
