The Vodafone Brisbane Lions are headed to Tasmania this weekend to play for AFL premiership points for the first since the merger in 1997.

All Lions members and supporters either living in the area or travelling to Tasmania for the match should be aware of the following:

Lions Training

The Lions will conduct a brief skills session at Aurora Stadium in Launceston at approximately 5:00pm this Friday 8 August.

All Lions fans are welcome to attend.

Lions Merchandise

The Lions will have a merchandise marquee operating at the Aurora Stadium match on Saturday.

The marquee will be located inside Gate 7 and will open from 12 noon until the completion of the game.

Any Tasmanian-based member or supporter wishing to purchase a particular item on the day of the match must contact Adam Bruhn in the Victorian Office on abruhn@lions.com.au or (03) 8850 5600 to place their request. All specific merchandise requests must be made before 5:00pm on Thursday 7 August.

Member Cap Collection

If you haven’t already collected your 2008 Members Cap, you can do so on Saturday afternoon at the Lions v Hawks game from the Lions merchandise marquee located inside Gate 7 at Aurora Stadium.

Please note: Members must present their 2008 Brisbane Lions membership card in order to collect their 2008 Members Cap.
