Post-workout Smoothie

This is the perfect replenishing drink to have straight after a big weights session. There are fast-digesting carbs in the banana, antioxidants in the berries, whey protein powder and a little fat in the flaxseed oil.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: Nothing!

What you need
2 ripe bananas, chopped
1 cup of mixed berries
1 cup powdered oats
1 tablespoon honey
1 heaped scoop or 30g Whey Protein Isolate powder (fast-digesting)
1 tablespoon flaxseed oil
500mls low fat milk
Ice cubes, to serve

Directions
-Combine bananas, berries, oats in a blender and pulse until almost liquid.
-Add in protein powder, honey and flaxseed oil and pulse again.
-Add milk and blend until smoothie is creamy.
-Pour into glasses with Ice cubes and slam it down.
