My name is Mairead Allan. I am an 11 year-old girl and have barracked for the Lions all my life.
I love playing footy and my favourite player is Jonathan Brown. Some day I want to be in a team and play just like him. I really enjoy watching the Lions play each week and sometimes going to watch them at the MCG.
I also enjoy drawing so I have done some for you to keep. One of the drawings is of Jonathan Brown and the other is of the team. I hope you like them.
I am in Grade 6 this year and we sometimes have footy players come to our school. But we’ve never had any teams come from out of Melbourne. Next time Brisbane is in Melbourne, could you please try and see if you could get some of the Lions players to come to my school - especially Jonathan Brown.
