Update: 4.05pm Friday 3 August 2012 - Matt Maguire has withdrawn from the side, to be replaced by Ryan Harwood in the 22.
Versatile Brisbane Lions defender Ryan Harwood has earned a late reprieve with Matt Maguire ruled out of his side’s clash against Richmond at the Gabba on Saturday night.
Maguire was ruled out on Friday after succumbing to a foot injury - earning Harwood, originally left of the squad, a call-up.
Lions coach Michael Voss had already made a number of changes to the squad that went down to West Coast in Perth last weekend.
The Lions finalised preparations for the Tigers’ clash with a final hit-out at the Gabba on Friday evening.

The Brisbane Lions have named their team to take on Richmond this Saturday night at the Gabba, and, as promised, Michael Voss has made substantial changes to the side that faced West Coast last weekend.
Key forward Jordan Lisle will make his debut for the Club, while lethal left-footers Josh Drummond and Daniel Rich will return alongside youngsters Patrick Karnezis and Josh Green.
Lisle, who came to the Lions at the end of 2011 after five games in three years at Hawthorn, has kicked 43 goals this season in the NEAFL and becomes the seventh player to wear the Lions colours for the first time in 2012.
Rich returns after serving a two-week suspension, while Karnezis and Green have been rewarded for strong form in the Lions Reserves with their senior call-ups this week.
Karnezis, in particular, will no doubt be eager to face the Tigers this weekend - it was against Richmond in Round 13 last year at the Gabba that Karnezis, making his senior AFL debut, kicked two goals from his first two kicks of AFL football.
