Courtney Hodder, Dakota Davidson, Isabelle Dawes and Nat Grider have all been named in this year's AFLPA’s 22Under22 squad.
The players are selected by the AFL Players Association based on match statistics from Champion Data.
The Lions young guns’ contribution in the march to a preliminary final has been recognised, with the four players selected in the AFL Players Association’s AFLW 22Under22 squad.
It's the first time Hodder, Grider, Dawes and Davidson have appeared in the squad after an incredible, breakout season for all players.
Now it is over to the fans to determine the final side with voting open on 22under22.com.au between April 7 and 14.
The initial All-Star squad of 40 will be trimmed to 22 on April 20 when the remaining players will be announced and receive their 2021 22Under22 guernseys.
Grider, Dawes and Hodder all received Rising Star nominations this season as the Lions put together a 7-2 season on their way to Saturday’s preliminary final against Collingwood at the Gabba.
Davidson has had a superb second AFLW season, leading the competition’s goals for the first half of the season and finishing the regular season with 13 goals in total.
