GUN teenager Josh Schache says he is happy to come to Brisbane if drafted by the Lions.
Victorian country star Schache has read with interest that 2013 top ten draft pick James Aish has asked the Lions to find a trade with Collingwood during the player exchange period that begins on Monday, but has told The Courier-Mail that he is not deterred that some players want out.
The hulking forward is widely tipped to go number one or two in this year’s draft and is Brisbane’s preferred choice.
The Lions will be hoping Carlton take Jacob Weitering at number one, leaving Schache, the son of former Brisbane Bear Laurence Schache, free for them to select with pick two.

Schache spent the past few days at the draft combine but did not do the testing because of an injury.
He was interviewed by several clubs and says he is not certain where he will end up.
He has read the media linking him to the Lions and says he would love to represent the club his dad played 29 games for in the early 1990s.
“I would be happy to go to Brisbane, it is my dream to be an AFL player and I will go anywhere to achieve that,’’ he told The Courier-Mail.
“You can’t avoid the speculation, so I am aware of it and excited by the thought of going there, but at the same time anything can happen and you have to be prepared.
“I am just trying to put my best foot forward with every club that speaks to me.’’
If he does get to Brisbane he is likely to be joined by Queensland Under 18s captain Ben Keays, who along with Eric Hipwood, are academy graduates the Lions are determined to draft.
“When I am interviewed by clubs I tell them about my links with the Lions but at the same time I explain that I will happily go to whoever selects me,’’ Keays said.
“It is my dream to play for the Lions and to help them get back up the ladder but if that doesn’t happen I’ll be doing my best for whatever club I go to.
“I want to be an AFL footballer and that is part of the game.’’
