Skipper Tom Rockliff will miss up to 2 weeks of football with a right calf strain.
Scans yesterday cleared Rockliff of major damage, however Lions Head of Physiotherapy Shane Lemcke said the 26-year-old would be sidelined for the next two matches.
“Unfortunately Tom has strained his right calf, so he’ll probably miss a couple of weeks.
Daniel Rich (hamstring) and Mitch Robinson (calf) have been declared “50-50” to face the Geelong at Simonds Stadium on Sunday.
“Dan hasn’t done any structural damage so we’ll just have to see how he goes this week,” Lemcke said.

Meanwhile, Marco Paparone is still a couple of weeks away from returning to football as he manages a hamstring injury.
“He’s got a hamstring tendinopathy – where the tendon that attaches to the bone is a little bit irritated. That can take a little bit to settle down but he’s improving,” Lemcke said.
“He’s probably a few weeks away at this stage.”
In better injury news, midfielder Dayne Beams has begun running in his rehabilitation from knee tendinitis.
“Dayne’s started running and his knee is coping well so far. The test will be as he builds his training loads over the next week or two to see how he travels.”
