Simon Black and Ash McGrath will make their return to the field this weekend as the Lions take on the Western Bulldogs for the Round 13 clash at Etihad Stadium.

The two have recently spent short stints on the sidelines with minor knee injuries, but will be a welcome return to a Lions’ side that will be eager for a win against the 13th-placed Bulldogs.

Black and McGrath will join their teammates in special heritage-inspired guernseys on the day, to be worn as a one-off ahead of the Lions’ sold-out inaugural Hall of Fame function on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, former Bulldogs big man Ben Hudson has been selected in the ruck and is set to face his former team for the first time since joining the Lions at the end of 2011.

Black and McGrath are the only two changes to the Lions’ side this week, with Aaron Cornelius and Jared Polec both omitted to make way for the returning pair.
